The cabin in 2015

A beautiful property that is being lost to erosion: Starting in the 1980s, about 27' feet of its cliff has fallen off, and the house has been pulled back from the cliff twice.

Moving the cabin back from the cliff (2005)

In Winter 2005, the cabin was moved back from the cliff (and sideways) about 40 feet.

To do this, skid beams were installed under the cabin by Truls Skogland, and then Eric Ferreira used his excavator to pull the beams and the house onto its new location.
