A follow-up to Spilsbury's Coast that contains many photographs of and anecdotes about Savary's early days. He ties it all together with a series of topical essays about various aspects of life on Savary, such as, "Savary Island Cuisine" [his mother would throw a whole chicken in a pot and boil it, beak and all].
As with Spilsbury's Coast, this is a great read for anyone interested in the history of Savary Island.

I am in the bow keeping watch; Mrs. Herchmer and Laurencia are in the stern."
