John Green's Crown Grants
After having Savary Island surveyed by George Drabble in 1891, John Green applied for BC government crown grants for DL 1372, DL 1375, and DL 1377. The information on these crown grants can be viewed by:

Notes
1. According to Kennedy, he received 784 acres at a cost of $1 per acre. This suggests that he probably couldn't afford to buy the whole island outright, so he bought the three best lots that he could afford.

The other two lots were eventually purchased as crown grants in 1909 by Louis Anderson (DL 1373) and his brother-in-law Bill Palmer (DL 1376).
