Cloud Dance, Savary Island
"Anne-Marie Harvey spent her first 23 years as an artist exploring and painting in the wilds of northern British Columbia and the Yukon. She painted with Dave Nehring and Quentin Robbins and feels that much of her success as an artist came from this close working relationship.
In 1984 she moved to a new life on the west coast where she continued to paint and with her husband Chris, to explore by boat the wild outer islands and coast of B.C.
Besides painting full time, Anne-Marie was the cover artist and illustrator for the Advocate, the law magazine for B.C., from 1999 until 2012. She is a signature member with the Federation of Canadian Artists where she juries and teaches part time."
