Definition - A phrase that functions as an adverb.
Notes:
1. If the adverbial phrase is an idiomatic expression, such as arm in arm, it is called a phrasal adverb.

Example -
I like to fly kites for fun.
(The adverbial phrase for fun modifies the verb fly.)
