The Dictionary of the Climate Debate (DCD)

Solomon, Lawrence

(1948) A Canadian environmentalist, journalist, and global-warming skeptic who in 2008 published The Deniers, a book that gave brief biographies of a handful of scientists who Solomon claimed disagreed with the "alarmist" view of global warming.

A right-wing environmentalist

Solomon is an unusual political specimen: a lifelong, professional environmentalist who advocates market-based solutions to environmental problems. Here he is in June 2008 in Regina talking about climate change.

Notes:
1. Solomon has also written extensively about what he believes to be a very pronounced proponent bias in Wikipedia articles dealing with climate change, especially any that have experienced the editorial involvement of the ultra-proponent William Connolley. Click here to read the accusation.
