Definition: (Aka Earth system sensitivity)

Gavin Schmidt's preferred term for what James Hansen calls long term sensitivity, a value for climate sensitivity which — in contrast to Charney sensitivity — allows land surface, ice sheets, atmospheric chemistry, and aerosols to feed back into the temperature response.
