Cretacious Era
Definition: The last period of the Mesozoic Era between 144 - 65 Ma during which dinosaurs roamed and oceans covered most of the earth.

The surface temperature was perhaps 10 degrees C warmer than today, and the deep water temperature was 18 degrees warmer.
