The Dictionary of the Climate Debate (DCD)

Cooler Heads Coalition
Definition: An umbrella organization for right-wing skeptic's groups (are there any other kind?) that is presently financed and operated by the Competitive Enterprise Institute.

Its objective is to dispel "the myths of global warming by exposing flawed economic, scientific, and risk analysis." In 2004, its stated position was that "the science of global warming is uncertain, but the negative impacts of global warming policies on consumers are all too real.

Chris Horner is its general counsel and Myron Ebell is its chairman. As of 2010, some members of the coalition are: Americans for Tax Reform, the Fraser Institute, the George C. Marshall Institute, the Heartland Institute, JunkScience.com, and the Lavoisier Group.
